Sweep Mode
The HP 4284A's List Sweep Measurement function p ermits up
to 10 test frequencies, oscillator levels, or DC bias points to be
automatically measured. There are two measurement mo des for
list sweep measurements: sequential (SEQ) mo de and step (STEP)
mo de. In the case of SEQ mo de, when the HP 4284A is triggered
once, all sweep p oints are automatically swept. In the case of the
STEP mo de, each time the HP 4284A is triggered the sw
eep p ointis
swept by one step.

When two or more sweep p oints are the same, and are adjacent the
HP 4284A measures the device once, and then the measurement
result is compared to limits set for eac
hsweep p oint.
