The scanner can be connected to a computer using a USB interface connection. You 
can use a USB connection if your computer meets these requirements:
The computer has a USB connector on the back (see below).
The computer is running Microsoft â Windows 98, Windows 2000, or 
Windows Me. 
Note: USB connections are not supported in Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.
In the computer BIOS, USB is enabled. In some older computers, it is disabled. 
See the documentation that came with the computer. If you change the BIOS, 
restart the computer and reinstall the software.
