On the Connection Type window, click Directly to this computer using a USB cable or Through the
network; and then, click Next.
If you clicked Through the network, continue to the Identify a printer window. (See
Figure 3-27 Identify
a printer window on page 153.)
NOTE: On a network connection in which non-Windows firewall software is used, a Firewall Notice
window opens. Click Next to continue.
If you clicked Directly to this computer using a USB cable and click Next, the Connect your device
now window opens.
