Removal and replacement procedures
Remove the RJ-11 connector
1. Remove the 2 screws 1 that secure the modem to the base enclosure.
2. Lift the modem 2 up, and then disconnect the RJ-11 connector cable 3.
3. Remove the cable from the clips 1, and then lift the connector straight up 2 and out of the computer.
Reverse this procedure to install the RJ-11 connector.
