Changing Modem Connection Settings
Before you begin, obtain the following information from your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) or wireless service provider:
• user name
• password
• domain name
• TCP/IP settings, if necessary
• ISP server phone number or access point
To change modem connection settings:
1. Insert a modem card.
2. Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab > Connections.
3. In either My ISP or My Work Network, tap Manage
existing connections.
4. Select the desired modem connection, tap Edit, then follow the
instructions in the connection wizard.
NOTE: To manually start a connection, tap and hold the connection,
then tap Connect.
To delete a connection, tap and hold the connection you want to
remove, then tap Delete.
