4. Scrub the surface of each ink deposit with the steel scourer, taking care to move it from the inside of the
printer towards the outside, to avoid pushing dirt into the drop detector.
TIP: If access or visibility is not good enough, remove the upper section of the right front cover by
unscrewing the screws shown below.
5. Clean the surface of each ink deposit with a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
