Remove the six Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws that secure the top cover to the computer.

Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
5.
Open the computer as far as possible.
6. Disconnect the caps lock LED board cable (1) from the system board.
7.
Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad board cable is connected, and disconnect the
cable (2) from on the system board.
8. Disconnect the TouchPad on/off button board cable (3) from the system board.
