Open the ink cartridge access door.
Remove the orange plastic carriage restraint
and discard or recycle.
Prepare the ink cartridges. First, remove the
plastic wrap by pulling the orange tab. Then twist
the orange cap on the cartridge to snap it off.
Turn the ink cartridge over, slide it into the
appropriate slot, then press down until it clicks
into place.
Repeat steps c and d for all ink cartridges.
Close the ink cartridge access door. The
initialization process begins, which takes several
minutes. It is normal for the device to make noise
during this process. While the initialization process
continues, proceed to the next step to load paper.
