Remove the display hinges (2). The display hinges are available in the Display Hinge Kit,
spare part numbers 583232-001 (for use only on computer models equipped with a 15.6-in
display assembly) and 583959-001 (for use only on computer models equipped with a 14.0-
in display assembly).
m. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the display hinge covers to the
display hinges.
n. Remove the display hinge covers (2) by sliding them off of the display hinges. The display
hinge covers are available in the Display Hinge Kit, spare part numbers 583232-001 (for
use only on computer models equipped with a 15.6-in display assembly) and 583959-001
(for use only on computer models equipped with a 14.0-in display assembly).
