Power down the server (on page 26).
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. For rack models, first remove the access panel and rack bezel.
5. Remove the drive cage blank.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from an electrical hazard, do not remove more
than one drive cage at a time.
Save the blank for future use.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Drive blank
1. Do one of the following:
o For tower models, open and remove the bezel ("Remove the tower bezel" on page 27).
o For rack models, if installed, remove the security bezel (on page 28).
