Remove the server base feet.
8. Remove all screws securing the base cover to the chassis.
NOTE: To facilitate removing the cover, the option kit includes a Torx screwdriver. Use this Torx
screwdriver along with the Torx screwdriver included with the server to remove the server base
cover.
9. Place two Torx screwdrivers in the bezel hinge holes to help slide the base cover towards the rear of the
server, and then remove the base cover.
