Purpose: The document is intended for use by end-of-life recyclers or treatment facilities. It provides the basic instructions
for the disassembly of HP products to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment, as defined by EU
directive 2002/96/EC, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Product Disassembly Process

Disassemble Rear Cover

Initial step to separate the rear cover from the monitor head.

Disassemble Interface Board

Remove interface board by releasing screws and disconnecting cable.

Disassemble Control Board and FFC Cable

Remove control board and FFC Cable after releasing screws.

Disassemble Main Assembly (MF)

Separate main assembly (MF) from bezel by releasing screws.

Disconnect eDP Cable

Disconnect the eDP cable from its connector.

Disassemble Panel from Bezel

Separate the display panel from the bezel.

Disassemble Bezel Components

Remove magnets, buttons, and rubber buttons from the bezel.

Release Glass from Bezel

Use a tool to release the glass from the bezel.
