4. Press Create Media Type.
5. As mentioned in the following screens, the new media type must be created from a standard one. It is
important to choose the proper media in order to have the correct settings. So, it is highly
recommended to create a gloss media profile for all the different substrates you would like to use for
this purpose.
CAUTION: Incorrect media settings may directly affect printer performance and print quality, and
create risky situations such as printhead crashes.
