The xw8200 supports (4) tool-less and (1) tool-required internal 1” HDD slots. The xw8200 can
support up to 2.0TB of SATA storage. The SCSI controllers support up to 5 disks allowing up to 1.5TB
of SCSI storage.

The xw8200 supports many combinations of SATA and SCSI drives for both factory integrated and
After Market Optional (AMO) storage. The supported choices are shown in the flowchart, starting
with the selection of SATA or SCSI for the first drive. The xw8200 has an integrated SATA RAID
controller and an integrated SCSI RAID controller. The DZ554A and AA850A (AA850A is AMO
only) channel SCSI U320 controllers are additional SCSI controller options. The AA850A offers RAID
support. The ED092AV (factory integrated only) SATA or
ED090AA (AMO Only) SATA RAID
controller is required to integrate more than two SATA HDDs.
