3. Disconnect the power (1) and data (2) cables from the hard drive as shown in the following figure.

4. Press the green drive-lock release tabs (1), and then slide the hard drive out of the chassis (2) as
shown in the following figure.

NOTE: The HP xw8600 Workstation chassis hard drive bays can be configured to hold small form
factor (SFF) hard drives.
