If the PROTECT LED on your HQ Power Amplifier remains lit, it could be due to several reasons. One potential cause is that the inputs are receiving DC voltage, or there's a technical fault with the amplifier, in which case you should switch the amplifier off and have it checked by a service technician. Another reason may be overheating because of a clogged fan grille, so try cleaning the fan grille. Also, the impedance of your speakers might be too low, so attempt connecting other speakers. Finally, check for a short circuit in the speaker connection or within the speaker itself.
