The primary function of the Glider Plus is to straighten hair using heat. It utilizes 1-inch ceramic tourmaline-infused plates that are designed to eliminate frizz and provide long-lasting performance. The flat iron's HeatBalance® Technology ensures an even distribution of infrared heat across the plates, which helps to prevent hair damage from excessive heat concentration. The Reflexive Floating Plates allow the plates to slightly pivot, offering added styling flexibility and better heat coverage across hair strands.
The device features a Digital Temperature Control system, allowing users to set the desired temperature between 170°F and 450°F. This broad range accommodates various hair types and styling needs. For a sleek finish, a few drops of HSI Argan Oil (sold separately) can be applied to the palms, rubbed together, and then evenly applied to the ends of the hair.

Proper maintenance of the Glider Plus ensures its longevity and continued performance. It is important to keep the plates clean. Before cleaning, the appliance must be turned off, unplugged, and allowed to cool completely. The flat iron should only be cleaned when it is cold to the touch.
To clean the plates and the exterior of the power handle, a clean, soft, and slightly damp cloth should be used. It is crucial not to use any object that could scratch the ceramic plates or the barrel of the iron. Water, chemicals, or other liquids should not be used to clean the appliance, and care must be taken to prevent any liquids from entering the handle of the flat iron. For storage, the appliance must be turned off, unplugged, and cooled down. The power cord should not be wrapped tightly around the flat iron, as this can lead to severe pulling, bending, wrapping, or twisting, which may damage the cord. Stress on the cord where it enters the handle should be avoided to prevent fraying or breakage. The flat iron should not be hung by its cord. It is recommended to store the Glider Plus in its original packaging or in a clean, dry place.
