Viewing your messages
To open and read a new message, you can:
§ Double-tap the message notification from the cover feed.
§ Tap a chat head to display the message. If you've received several messages
from different contacts, switch between messages by tapping the chat head and
then tapping another sender's profile picture.
Replying to a message
1. In Facebook Messenger, on the Messages screen, tap a contact (or phone
number) to display the conversation with that contact.
2. Tap the text box, and then enter your message.
3. Tap Send.
Deleting messages and conversations
In Facebook Messenger, on the Messages screen, do any of the following:
Delete a message Open the conversation thread with a contact, press and hold
the message to delete, and then tap Delete.
Delete a conversation Press and hold a contact (or phone number), and then tap
Delete.
