2.1 Making Calls
Use the phone’s Dialer application to make calls.
Use the Dialer
Do one of the following to open the Dialer:
Press HOME, then touch Dialer.
Press HOME, open the Applications
tab, then touch Dialer.
Press the CALL button.

To make a call on a the Dialer

If the phone keypad is not open, open it by
touching at the bottom of the screen.

Begin entering the first few numbers or
characters of the contact by touching the keys
on the Phone keypad. As you enter numbers or
letters, the screen will display matches found
based on the phone keys you have touched.
The list is based on the contacts you have on your
phone and Call log.
If you touched a wrong number key, touch
to erase each subsequent digit of a number. To
erase the entire number, touch and hold .
Note After entering a few digits and the number you are dialing is not in your contacts, an
Add to Contacts button will appear above the keypad. Tap it to save the number to
your Contacts.
