Huawei E3531 - Troubleshooting Common Issues; Cannot Get Online; Connection Too Slow; Modem Installed, Computer Cant Find It

Why isn’t it working?
I can’t get online.
First make sure you have good coverage. If you have a fixed
broadband connection with a wireless router close by, the WiFi on
your computer must be turned off before using the modem.
The connection is too slow

You have either reached the data limit or the coverage is poor. Try using an
extension cable place the USB-modem by a window. At telia.se/tackning
you can look up the expected connection speed.
The modem is installed, but my computer can’t nd it.
Disconnect the modem and restart the computer. Reconnect using the same
USB port as before. If it still isn’t working, try a dierent port.
The installation doesn’t start automatically.
Double-click the installation icon in the modem folder.
