4 Making and Answering Calls
Making Calls
To make a call, do as follows:
Step 1
Pick up the handset, or press or the corresponding LINEx key.
Step 2
Dial the number of the called party when you hear the dial tone.
Step 3
Press SEND.
When picking up the handset or pressing , you can redial the last called
number by pressing SEND.
Answering Calls
When a call is coming, the eSpace 6870 rings euphoniously. To answer the call,
perform any of the following operations:

Pick up the handset.

Press .

Press the blinking LINEx key.
When a call is coming, the eSpace 6870 displays the calling number on the
LCD. At the same time, the line indicator of the corresponding account
blinks.
