• Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, and enable Hide notication content.
• Go to Settings > Notications & status bar > Lock screen notications, and select Hide
notication content.
Notications Turn on Screen
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, and enable Wake screen. Your tablet will then
automatically turn on the lock screen when it receives a notication.
Disable App Notications
If you do not want to be disturbed by notications from an app, perform either of the
following:
• After you receive a notication from the app, swipe left on it in the notication panel, and
go to > Disable notications.
• Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, locate and touch the app for which you want
to disable notications, then disable Allow notications.
• Go to Settings > Notications & status bar > Manage all, and turn o the switch next to
the app.
Set the Status Bar to Simple Display
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar > Status bar, and enable Simple display. After
doing so, only the following frequently-used icons will display on the tablet status bar by
default: time, Wi-Fi network, mobile signal, and battery level.
Show the Carrier Name and Network Speed
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar > Status bar, and enable Show carrier name
and Show network speed as needed, to reveal the network carrier information and Internet
access speed.
This feature is not supported on Wi-Fi only tablets.

Face Recognition
Face Recognition allows you to unlock your tablet or access locked apps with your facial
data.
Set up Face Recognition
1 Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition and enter your lock screen
password.
If you have not set a lock screen password, set a 6-digit PIN or touch Change unlock
method to set up another type of password.
