Slide ferrule A onto
cable.
Prepare cable
according to diagram.
Do not damage braid,
dielectric and inner
conductor
of cable.
Blade
(74_Z-0-0-68)
scissors
Put contact B in contact
holder W54.
Push contact B over
inner conductor of
cable and solder.
Contact B flush to
dielectric.
Remove any residual
flux.

Mount locator tool W14
“M” onto connector
body C.
Locator tool
W14 “M”
Splay out braid and
insert prepared cable
fully into connector
body C.
Ensure that braid lies
above the
crimp neck.
Slide ferrule A over
braid to body C and
crimp. Remove locator
tool.
Crimp as close as
possible to connector
body C.
Crimp tool: Cavity A
For large crimp tool
and table press use
insert 76_Z-0-2-1.
For small crimp tool
use insert
76_Z-0-2-51.

Assembly Instructions

Prepare Cable and Slide Ferrule

Slide ferrule onto cable and prepare cable as per diagram, avoiding damage to dielectric or conductor.

Solder Contact to Inner Conductor

Insert contact into holder, push over inner conductor, and solder, ensuring flush fit and removing flux.

Mount Locator Tool

Attach locator tool W14 "M" onto the connector body C.

Insert Prepared Cable

Splay out the cable braid and fully insert the prepared cable into connector body C, ensuring braid placement.

Crimp Ferrule and Finalize Assembly

Slide ferrule over braid to body C, crimp precisely, and remove the locator tool using appropriate crimp tools.
