Log in to the Hudl Focus app
Use your Hudl account email and password to
log in to the Focus App.

Set up the camera using the Hudl Focus App
After logging in, tap Set Up to continue.

Update your camera
Make sure the camera is on—the light on the front
of the camera should be solid white. Next, plug
your camera into a router using an Ethernet cable
or tap Connect camera to Wi-Fi Instead and
begin updating.
Tap Continue once the update is complete.
You’ll only need to complete this update once.

Wait until the update is complete before disconnecting the
camera from Ethernet. Unplugging during the update may
damage the device.
Turn on app notications and location services
We’ll only notify you of important updates to your
camera or recordings. Plus, you’ll need to allow the
Focus app to access location on an iOS device to
enable Wi-Fi connection to the device.

Power off and charge your camera
Turn o your camera by pressing the power button.
When the light on the front of the camera turns o,
your camera is powered down.

Do not leave the camera on while in the backpack.
It could overheat and become damaged.

To charge, plug your camera into an outlet using the
power cable provided. The lights on the back of the
camera will ash orange when charging.
We recommend charging for at least four hours for a
full charge. You’ll know the camera is fully charged
when all ve lights are orange on the back of the
camera, or by checking the Camera Status tab of
the Focus app when the camera is powered on.
