AUTO (Automatic Lamp Control):
Automatically turns on Daytime Running
Lamps in the daytime, and headlamps,
parking lamps, taillamps and instrument
panel lights at night. In a dark
environment, the lamps will turn on
when the vehicle is shifted out of
Park (P).
(Parking Lamps): Manually turns
on parking lamps, taillamps and
instrument panel lights only.
(Headlamps): Manually turns on
headlamps, parking lamps, taillamps
and instrument panel lights.
Light Sensor
The automatic headlamps use a light
sensor, located on top of the instrument
panel, to determine light conditions. To
ensure proper system operation, avoid
placing any objects on or near the
sensor or covering the sensor.

Exterior Lamps
Your H3 is equipped with an Automatic
Headlamp System, which turns on the
headlamps and other exterior lamps at
dusk or when necessary. The exterior
lamps also can be operated manually.
Exterior Lamp Control Switch
The exterior lamp control switch, used to
manually operate the exterior lamps, is
located on the left side of the instrument
panel. The switch can be rotated to each
of the following four positions:
(Off): When operating in the AUTO
position, a momentary turn of the lamp
control switch to the position will
turn off the Daytime Running Lamps,
automatic headlamps and all
exterior lights.
Power Windows
The power window switches are located
on the armrest of each door. To lower a
power window, push down on the power
window switch. To raise a power
window, pull up on the switch.
Rear Vision Camera (if equipped)
The rear vision camera will show a view
of behind the vehicle to help you when
backing up. The video screen
automatically slides out of the rear view
mirror when you shift into Reverse (R).
It will automatically slide back into
the mirror when you shift out of
Reverse (R).
The system can be turned on or off.
