Capacitance is calculated when the signature is a capacitive elliptical that is not close to a vertical or
horizontal line. It will also not calculate capacitance if the signature contains dominating resistance.
Forward and reverse breakdown voltages will be calculated for diode and zener type signatures. The
voltages will be calculated when the vertical portion of the signature is not close to a short or open.
To enable SigAssist
TM
, select the Menu button then the Display menu item. Press the Values menu
item to toggle the SigAssist
TM
(along with the Level display) on or off.
