The following paragraphs explain the concept of the SigAssist
TM
feature of the Tracker 2700. SigAssist
TM
can help with:
Determining proper range selection
Teaching/Learning Signature Analysis
Comparing values to see the amount of change
The values consist of Resistance, Capacitance, Power, Forward Breakdown Voltage, and
Reverse Breakdown Voltage. The formulas use the signature data and the range parameters to
calculate the approximate values.
Resistance is calculated when the signature is a sloping line that is not close to vertical or
horizontal.
Power is always calculated.
