Why is my Husqvarna HU700F Lawn Mower losing power?
    • S
      Sarah DunlapAug 31, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower is experiencing a loss of power, it could be due to several reasons. The rear of the mower housing or blade might be dragging in heavy grass, suggesting the need to raise the cutting height. You might be cutting too much grass at once, also indicating a need to raise the cutting height. A dirty air filter can also cause power loss, so consider cleaning or replacing it. Buildup of grass, leaves, and trash under the mower can impede performance, requiring you to clean the underside of the mower housing. Additionally, check the oil level to ensure there isn't too much oil in the engine, and consider cutting at a slower walking speed.
