4. Make sure that the servicing indicator symbol on the
display is not shown.
9.3.5 To disassemble and assemble the seat
microswitch
1. Lift the seat.
2. Disconnect the cable connections from the
microswitch.
3. Remove the spring plate with the spring and spacer.
4. Push the fasteners and lift the microswitch from the
frame.
5. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.3.6 To remove and install the microswitch for the
lift lever
1. Remove the right footrest plate and the right fender.

2. Disconnect the connector from the microswitch.
3. Remove the microswitch.
4. Install in opposite sequence.
9.3.7 To disassemble and assemble the ignition
switch
1. Remove the side cover on the control panel.
2. Remove the ignition key.
3. Remove the plastic nut and pull down the ignition
switch.
4. Pull the connector to disconnect it from the ignition
switch.
5. Assemble in opposite sequence. Make sure that the
connector goes into the correct position.
