6. Make sure that the steering wheel is in the center
position when the rear wheels are in center position.
If not, reset the chain on the steering sprocket on the
steering column or adjust the steering cable.
9.8.3 To remove the steering cable pulley
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
To remove
the covers on page 21
2. Remove the nuts on the rear end of the steering
cables.
3. Remove the screw (A) and the washer (B).
4. Remove the steering cable pulley (C) and the
bushing (D).
9.8.4 To attach the steering cable pulley
1. Put the screw (A) through the washer (B), the
steering cable pulley (C) and the bushing (D).
2. Attach the screw (A) to the rear hole in the frame.
3. Put the cables below the steering cable rollers (E)
below the tunnel cover.
4. Tension and adjust the steering cables. Refer to

examine and adjust the steering cables on page 58
.
