Why is there a loss of drive in my Husqvarna Lawn Mower?

If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower experiences a loss of drive, first ensure the freewheel control is not in the “disengaged” position; place it in the “engaged” position. Other potential causes include debris on the steering plate (if equipped, see "CLEANING" in the Maintenance section), a worn, damaged, or broken motion drive belt (replace the motion drive belt), air trapped in the transmission during shipment or servicing (purge the transmission), or a missing axle key (install axle key at rear wheel; see "TO REMOVE WHEEL" in the Service and Adjustments section).
