Sprinkler Installation
Please Note: Do Not use pipe dope on threads! Use thread seal tape if necessary.
1. Flush sprinkler lines.
2. Thread the sprinkler rotor onto a swing joint assembly and set the head flush with the
finished turf height.
Set the Spray Distance after installation
Please Note: Set with water on at normal system operating pressure. Nozzle #2 is preinstalled
and adjusts from 25 - 45 feet depending on your water pressure.
1. Insert the metal hex end of the adjusting key into thew distance adjustment slot.
2. Turn clockwise to decrease distance or counter-clockwise to increase distance.
*Caution: Do Not turn the adjustment screw too far in either direction as the screw may come
loose from threads.

Flush Sprinkler Lines

Flush sprinkler lines before threading the rotor onto a swing joint assembly.

Thread Rotor and Set Height

Thread the sprinkler rotor onto a swing joint and set the head flush with the finished turf height.

Set Spray Distance

Insert Hex End of Key

Insert the metal hex end of the adjusting key into the distance adjustment slot.

Adjust Spray Distance Rotation

Turn key clockwise to decrease distance or counter-clockwise to increase distance.

Pattern Adjustment

Position Head for Adjustment

Turn the top of the head fully left and then fully right to prepare for adjustments.

Insert Plastic Wrench End

Insert the plastic end of the adjustment wrench into the pattern adjustment hole.

Adjust Rotation Pattern

Turn wrench clockwise to increase rotation or counter-clockwise to decrease rotation.

Nozzle Replacement

Access Nozzle via Lifter Socket

Insert plastic end of key into lifter socket and turn 90° to access nozzle.

Prepare for Nozzle Removal

Grip sprinkler stem firmly and insert hex end of key into distance adjustment slot.

Release Nozzle

Turn screw counter-clockwise until clear, then apply water pressure to pop nozzle out.

Insert Replacement Nozzle

Insert replacement nozzle with diffuser screw channel on top and turn diffuser screw back.

Cleaning the Filter

Clear Debris Around Head

Remove grass and dirt around the sprinkler head exposing at least 1 1/2 inches of the body.

Remove Cap and Stem Assembly

Unscrew the cap and remove the stem assembly to access the filter.

Extract and Clean Filter

Use pliers to extract the filter from the stem assembly, clean, rinse, and replace.

Reassemble Sprinkler Body

Replace the stem assembly into the sprinkler body and screw the cap on tightly.
