Why is my Hydrofarm Air Conditioner not cooling enough?
- JJennifer BlairAug 1, 2025
If your Hydrofarm Air Conditioner isn't cooling the room sufficiently, several factors could be at play. First, ensure all windows and doors are closed. Remove any heat sources like CO burners or multiple ballasts. Check that the exhaust air hose is correctly connected and not blocked. The inlet air temperature should not exceed 95°F. Also, verify that the temperature setting isn't too high and that the air inlet isn't blocked—proper ventilation is key, with the unit exhausting to the exterior and pulling intake air from outside. Finally, confirm that the room size doesn't exceed the unit's recommended capacity of 800 cubic feet.
