    • D
      Douglas RodriguezAug 16, 2025
If the road light system in your Hymer Motorhomes is not working correctly, it could be due to a defective bulb. Replace the bulb, making sure to note the correct volts and watts specifications. Alternatively, the fuse could be defective. In this case, replace the fuse.

Why is there no gas in my hymer BMC 600?
    • T
      Timothy WilcoxAug 20, 2025
If there is no gas in your Hymer Motorhomes, several factors could be the cause: * The gas bottle might be empty; in this case, change the gas bottle. * The gas isolator tap could be closed; open it. * The regulator tap on the gas bottle might be closed; open it. * The external temperature might be too low (below -42 °C for propane gas or 0 °C for butane gas); wait for higher external temperatures.

Why is the battery charge through solar module not working in hymer BMC 600 Motorhomes?
    • J
      Joseph WilsonAug 25, 2025
If the battery charge through the solar module is not working in your Hymer Motorhomes, check the plug connectors and cables to ensure the electrical connection to the solar module is not interrupted. Also, verify that the fuse on the transformer/rectifier is not defective and replace it if needed. Ensure that the battery selection switch is correctly set. If these steps don't resolve the issue, pull out the jumbo flat fuse on the living area battery.

    • B
      Bradley ClarkAug 27, 2025
If the heater in your Hymer Motorhomes does not ignite, it could be due to several reasons: 1. The temperature sensor on the operating unit or remote sensor might be defective. In this case, pull out the plug on the operating unit to allow the heater to work without a thermostat. Contact customer service as soon as possible. 2. The fuse on the transformer/rectifier might be defective. Replace the fuse. 3. The living area battery could be defective. Charge or replace the battery. 4. If the internal temperature is below 8 °C, increase the inside temperature.

What to do if sockets without voltage (for special equipment AC converter) in Hymer Motorhomes?
    • R
      robinsonmaryAug 31, 2025
If sockets in your Hymer Motorhomes are without voltage (for special equipment AC converter), the AC converter may have switched itself off due to a fault. Observe the LEDs on the AC converter. The circuit breaker in the additional fuse box may have tripped; switch the circuit breaker on. If the input voltage is too low, charge the living area battery. If the AC converter is too hot, reduce the load and ensure better ventilation. If there is a short circuit, incorrect polarity, or excessive load, reduce the load, eliminate the short circuit or switching error, and push the appliance fuse in again.

Why ignition fuse does not operate (flame does not burn after the control knobs are released) in hymer BMC 600 Motorhomes?
    • S
      Stephanie BrownSep 4, 2025
If the ignition fuse does not operate (and the flame does not burn after releasing the control knobs) in your Hymer Motorhomes, keep the control knob pressed for approximately 15 to 20 seconds after ignition. Also, the thermocouple sensor may be incorrectly set. Correctly reset the thermocouple sensor (do not bend). The sensor tip should protrude by 5 mm beyond the burner, and the sensor neck should not be more than 3 mm away from the burner ring.

    • K
      kfinleyNov 12, 2025
If the electrically operated entrance step of your Hymer Motorhomes cannot be moved, there might be several reasons: 1. Check if there is a 230 V power supply. If not, switch on the automatic circuit breaker in the vehicle. 2. The fuse on the transformer/rectifier could be defective, replace it. 3. The 230 V automatic circuit breaker may have triggered, switch it on. 4. A jumbo flat fuse on the starter or living area battery might be defective, replace it. 5. The transformer/rectifier might be overheated due to high ambient temperature or hindered ventilation. 6. Too many appliances might be switched on; switch off the ones not needed. 7. Ensure the battery cut-off switch on the transformer/rectifier is on. 8. The starter or living area battery may not be charged, charge it. 9. A...
