This document provides operating instructions for the HyperMotion Mini 55 Trampoline with Safety Net, designed for recreational use by children aged 3 to 6 years. It is not intended for professional use. The maximum user weight for the trampoline is 25 kg (60 lbs).
Function Description:
The HyperMotion Mini 55 Trampoline is a recreational device designed for children to jump and play safely. It features a jumping mat, a safety net enclosure, and a sturdy frame. The safety net is crucial for preventing users from falling off the trampoline, and it includes a designated entrance/exit that must be zipped closed during use. The trampoline is intended to provide a controlled bouncing experience, promoting physical activity and coordination in young children.
Important Technical Specifications:
- Trampoline Diameter: Ø 91 cm / 55 inches
- Maximum User Weight: 25 kg / 60 lbs
- Recommended User Age: 3 to 6 years
- Assembly: Adult assembly required. The product contains small parts, sharp points, and sharp edges, posing a choking hazard for children under 3 years.
- Overhead Clearance: A minimum of 2.5 m (8 ft) from ground level is recommended. Ensure clearance from wires, tree limbs, and other hazards.
- Lateral Clearance: Maintain a clear space of at least 2.5 m (6 ft) from the frame edge, away from walls, structures, fences, and other play areas. The area around the trampoline must be free of any objects or animals.
- Electrical Conductivity: The metal frame of the trampoline is electrically conductive. Lights, extension cords, and other electrical equipment must never come into contact with the trampoline or its safety net.
Usage Features:
- Single User Only: Only one person should use the trampoline at a time to prevent serious injuries from collisions.
- No Somersaults: Users are strictly prohibited from attempting somersaults or flips. Landing on the head or neck can cause severe injury, paralysis, or death.
- Controlled Bouncing: Users should focus on controlled, low bounces, landing in the center of the mat. Control over the bounce is more important than height. To stop a bounce, flex the knees as the feet contact the mat.
- Proper Entry and Exit: Users must only enter and exit the trampoline through the designated zippered opening in the safety net. Attempting to enter or exit between the frame and the net, or jumping on/off the trampoline from the ground or other objects, is dangerous and poses a strangulation risk.
- Adult Supervision: The trampoline and safety net must only be used under the supervision of a mature, knowledgeable adult. The supervisor should not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Appropriate Clothing: Users should wear comfortable clothing free of hooks, snaps, drawstrings, jewelry, necklaces, or earrings that could snag or get caught in the safety net.
- Environmental Conditions: The trampoline should never be set up or used during heavy rain, strong winds, or storm conditions, especially lightning storms. The jumping mat must be dry. In adverse weather, the trampoline should be disassembled and stored indoors.
- Obstruction-Free Zone: Before each use, ensure there are no obstructions beneath or around the trampoline and safety net.
- Unauthorized Access Prevention: When not in use, the trampoline should be covered or disassembled to prevent unauthorized access, especially by small children.
Maintenance Features:
- Pre-Use Inspection: Before each use, a thorough inspection of the trampoline and safety net is mandatory. Check for:
- Missing, improperly positioned, or insecurely attached frame padding, barrier/enclosure support system padding, and pole caps.
- Punctures, frays, tears, or holes in the jumping mat, frame padding, barrier/enclosure support system, or pole caps.
- Deterioration in stitching or fabric of the jumping mat, frame cover, barrier/enclosure support system, or pole caps.
- Ruptured suspension cords.
- Bent or broken frame or support system.
- Sagging barrier or jumping mat.
- Sharp protrusions on the frame or suspension system.
- Loosened or missing hardware. All hardware must be tightened before each use.
- Replacement of Parts: Any worn, defective, or missing parts identified during inspection must be replaced immediately.
- Cleaning: Specific cleaning instructions are not detailed, but general maintenance implies keeping the trampoline clean and dry.
The manual emphasizes that while every effort is made to ensure safety, the manufacturer cannot guarantee freedom from injury, and users assume all risks associated with the product's use. The owner and supervisor are responsible for ensuring all users are aware of and adhere to the safety rules and warnings provided in the manual and on the product labels. Users are encouraged to learn basic bouncing techniques before attempting more difficult maneuvers and to contact a certified trampoline instructor for skill training information.
