Overview

This document describes a WIFI fan coil unit thermostat, providing details on its functions, technical specifications, usage, and installation.

Function Description

The thermostat is designed to control fan coil units, offering various modes for temperature regulation and fan speed. It supports both cooling and heating modes, as well as ventilation. The device can be controlled manually or through a programmed schedule, and it integrates with a WIFI app for remote management.

Key Features:

  • Temperature Control: Maintains desired indoor temperature by controlling the fan and valve.
  • Fan Speed Selection: Allows users to choose between high, mid, low, and auto fan speeds.
  • Programmable Schedule: Supports 5+2, 6+1, and 7-day programming modes, enabling different time and temperature settings for various days of the week.
  • WIFI Connectivity: Connects to a WIFI network for remote control via "Smart RM" or "Smart Life" apps.
  • Child Lock: Prevents unauthorized changes to settings with half-lock (temperature and on/off adjustable) and full-lock options.
  • Sleep Mode: Reduces energy consumption by running the fan at a lower speed for a set period.
  • Energy Saving Control: Offers options to turn off the fan when the valve is off or keep it always on.
  • External Sensor Support: Can utilize an external sensor for temperature detection, particularly useful in heating scenarios where the valve opens and the fan turns on based on external temperature thresholds.
  • Holiday Mode: Allows setting specific days and temperatures for holiday periods, running in a countdown mode.
  • Alarm Function: Displays error codes (E1 for internal sensor error, E2 for external sensor error) to indicate issues.
  • Display Logo Control: Option to display or hide the logo on standby.
  • Reset Function: Resets the thermostat to factory defaults.

Maintenance Features

Installation Guidelines:

  • Placement: Install the thermostat approximately 1.5m above the ground. Avoid wall corners, door/window sides, behind doors, unheated areas, or near hot/cold air ducts, radiators, flues, or thermal pipes to ensure accurate temperature readings.
  • Power Supply: Ensure the power cable is well insulated during installation.
  • Internal Circuit Board: Do not open the internal circuit board.
  • Mounting: Designed for standard 75x75x35mm wall mount boxes. Follow instructions to open the rear cover base, mount it, and wire it.
  • Safety: Disconnect the system power before installation. The maximum AC voltage should not exceed 250V.

Cautions:

  • The thermostat may not immediately display sudden temperature changes due to programming designed to prevent high fluctuations.
  • Error codes E1 (internal sensor error) and E2 (external sensor error) indicate potential issues requiring attention.
