Its primary function is to cool and store fresh food in the refrigerator compartment and to freeze and store frozen food in the freezer compartment. It utilizes Less Frost Technology for efficient cooling and reduced manual defrosting.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Operating Voltage: 220-240 V at 50Hz.
  • Refrigerant: R600a (environmentally friendly natural gas, but explosive).
  • Power Connection: Requires a specially grounded socket of 16 amperes.
  • Climate Class:
    • T: Between 16 and 43 °C
    • ST: Between 16 and 38 °C
    • N: Between 16 and 32 °C

  • Light Bulb: Maximum 15 Watts (for models with conventional bulbs). LED lighting requires authorized personnel for replacement.
  • Minimum Clearance: At least 50 cm from stoves, gas ovens, and heater cores; at least 5 cm from electrical ovens. If placed next to a deep freezer, there should be at least 2 cm between them.
  • Wall Clearance: The refrigerator should be placed against a wall with a free space not exceeding 75 mm.
  • Altitude: Not intended for use at altitudes exceeding 2000 m.
  • Lifetime: Declared lifetime of 10 years, with parts required for proper operation retained for this period.

Usage Features:

  • Thermostat Setting: A rotary knob from position 1 (minimum) to 5 (maximum) controls the internal temperature.
    • 1-2: For short-term food storage in the freezer.
    • 3-4: For long-term food storage in the freezer.
    • 5: For freezing fresh food (appliance runs longer, return to previous setting after desired condition is reached).
    • Important Note: Do not rotate the knob beyond position 1 when decreasing temperature, as it will stop the appliance.
  • Less Frost Technology: Features a wrap-around evaporator for more efficient cooling, less frequent manual defrosting, and flexible storage.
  • Food Storage Recommendations:
    • Refrigerator: Store food in closed containers or wrapped. Raw meat and fish should be placed on the glass shelf above the vegetable bin. Fruits and vegetables can be placed in the crisper without packaging. Avoid placing hot food or evaporating liquids directly in the fridge.
    • Freezer: Wrap and seal fresh food properly in air-tight packaging (freezer bags, aluminum foil, polythene bags, plastic containers). Divide fresh foods into single-use portions before freezing. Do not refreeze thawed food.
  • Accessories: Includes an ice tray and a plastic scraper for defrosting.
  • Initial Operation: After transportation, keep the appliance upright for at least 3 hours before plugging in. Allow it to run for 24 hours to reach operating temperature before storing a large quantity of food.
  • Power Outage: Unplug the appliance during a power cut and delay plugging it back in for 5-10 minutes after power is restored to prevent compressor damage.
  • Door Opening: Avoid keeping doors open for long periods or opening them too frequently to prevent warm air entry and unnecessary compressor operation.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • General: Clean the appliance thoroughly, especially the interior, before first use. Wipe all parts with a solution of warm water and sodium bicarbonate, then rinse and dry.
    • Refrigerator Compartment: Defrosting occurs automatically. The evaporation tray and water drain hole should be cleaned periodically with the defrost drain plug to prevent water accumulation. Pour 1½ glasses of water down the drain hole to clean it.
    • Freezer Compartment: Frost should be removed periodically using the provided plastic scraper. Defrost at least twice a year.
    • Condenser: Clean the condenser with a broom at least twice a year to save energy and increase productivity.
    • Accessories: Clean separately with soap and water; do not wash in a dishwasher.
    • General Cleaning Precautions: Always disconnect from power before cleaning. Do not pour water directly onto the appliance. Do not use abrasive products, detergents, or sharp metal objects.
  • Defrosting the Freezer:
    • The day before defrosting, set the thermostat to "5" to freeze foods completely.
    • During defrosting, wrap frozen foods in several layers of paper and keep in a cool place.
    • Set the thermostat knob to "•" or unplug the unit and leave the door open until completely defrosted.
    • To accelerate defrosting, place basins of warm water in the freezer.
    • Dry the inside carefully and set the thermostat knob to MAX position.
  • Light Bulb Replacement: Unplug the fridge, remove the light box cover using a screwdriver, replace with a maximum 15W bulb, install the cover, and wait 5 minutes before re-plugging and setting the thermostat to its original position. For LED lighting, contact authorized personnel.
  • Door Gasket: Keep clean and pliable; replace if worn.
  • Long-term Storage (Empty): If leaving the appliance empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mold development.
  • Water Dispenser (if available): Clean water tanks if unused for 48 hours; flush the water system if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
