The ImageQuest F910 is a 19-inch (18-inch viewable size) Perfectly Flat 3D Monitor designed for ergonomic and high-quality visual experiences. It supports high screen refresh rates and delivers flicker-free picture quality, making it suitable for various applications, including 3D image viewing.

Function Description:

The ImageQuest F910 serves as a color display unit with advanced features for image adjustment and power management. Its primary function is to display visual content from a computer, with a special emphasis on providing a 3D viewing experience when used with 3D glasses. The monitor incorporates an On Screen Display (OSD) system for user control over various picture settings and operational modes. It is designed to be compatible with VESA DPMS for power management and VESA DDC1/2B for display data channel communication.

Usage Features:

  • Easy Installation: The monitor comes with a swivel and tilt base that is easy to fasten. It requires placement at least 30cm from other electrical/heat-emitting equipment and 10cm clearance on each side for ventilation. Optimal viewing distance is 45-90cm, with the top of the screen no higher than eye level.
  • On Screen Display (OSD): The OSD menu is accessed via the MENU button and allows users to adjust various picture settings. Navigation is done using the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select items and the SELECT button to adjust. Settings are automatically saved after a few seconds of inactivity.
  • Direct Access Buttons: Dedicated buttons for Brightness and Contrast adjustments provide quick access to these frequently used settings.
  • Picture Adjustments:
    • H. SIZE / H. POSITION: Adjusts the horizontal size and position of the screen image.
    • V. SIZE / V. POSITION: Adjusts the vertical size and position of the screen image.
    • PINCUSHION: Corrects vertical sides that curve in or bulge out.
    • TRAPEZOID: Corrects images that are wider at the top or bottom.
    • PARALLEL: Corrects tilted screen image sides.
    • PIN BALANCE: Corrects pincushion distortion if sides are bowed to the right or left.
    • V. MOIRE / H. MOIRE: Clears vertical or horizontal moire patterns (concentric circles or arcs). Moire patterns do not affect printouts.
    • TOP CORNER / BOTTOM CORNER: Corrects distortions in the top or bottom corner sides of the picture.
    • H. LINEARITY / V. LINEARITY: Corrects horizontal or vertical linearity if parts of the picture are out of proportion.
    • ROTATION: Corrects the entire screen image if it is tilted.
    • OSD H. POSITION / OSD V. POSITION: Adjusts the horizontal and vertical position of the OSD menu itself.
  • Color Control: Offers three color temperature settings (9300K, 6500K, or USER). In USER mode, individual values for red, green, and blue can be set. Lower temperatures result in reddish tints, higher temperatures in bluish tints.
  • RECALL Function: Restores factory preset settings for size, position, and shape in factory preset mode. In user mode, it resets contrast to maximum and brightness to cut-off level.
  • INFORMATION: Displays horizontal and vertical sync polarity of the current timing set.
  • DEGAUSS: Automatically demagnetizes the display unit to correct distortion or discoloration caused by external magnetic fields. This happens automatically on power-on, but can be manually triggered (not more than once every half hour).
  • 3D Features:
    • FLIPPING / INTERLACE:
      • Flipping Mode (factory set): Recommended for enjoying 3D games with vivid screens.
      • Interlace Mode: Recommended for surfing the web or watching 3D films.
    • START LEFT/RIGHT: Synchronizes with 3D glasses to reduce dizziness during 3D game or film viewing.
    • 3D Image View Enabled: Requires wearing 3D glasses for the 3D effect.
  • Power Management: Supports VESA DPMS, allowing the monitor to enter power-saving modes when the system is idle. Reactivation occurs by pressing any key or moving the mouse.
  • Windows Plug and Play: Automatically configures display type if the computer is DDC compatible.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Always unplug the display unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
    • Do not disassemble the cabinet; it is not user-serviceable.
    • Avoid using alcohol (methyl, ethyl, isopropyl), strong dissolvents, thinner, benzene, abrasive cleaners, or compressed air.
    • Do not wipe the screen with abrasive cloths or sponges.
    • For the antistatic screen, use water and a special microfiber screen cleaning tissue (used for optical lenses) or a soft, clean cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild detergent.
    • For the cabinet, use a cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent.
  • Transportation: The swivel base must be removed during monitor transportation.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting section for common issues like blank screen, "OUT OF RANGE" error, "NO SIGNAL" message, screen flickers, color defects, unsatisfactory size/position/shape/quality, and duplicated images, offering possible solutions.
  • Service Contact: Instructions are provided on when and how to contact an authorized service agent if troubleshooting steps fail, emphasizing the use of original packaging for shipping.
  • 3D Viewing Precaution: Users are advised to take more than 15 minutes rest in case of headache or eye-strain when enjoying 3D images for long periods while wearing 3D glasses.
  • Power Disconnection: The front bezel power button does not fully disconnect the unit from mains. To completely isolate, unplug the mains cable or use the optional power switch at the rear bezel.
