1. Turn to page 3-020-8 in PIC "Power."
2. Ensure that all voltages described on pages 3-020-8
through 3-020-10 are within their specified ranges.
1. Set the system unit's Power switch to Off.
2. Unplug the power transformer cable from the
system unit
connector P.
3.
The voltages at the power transformer cable plug
should be within the ranges listed below.
4. Measure these voltages now.
Low Vdc High Vdc
Pin 1 to Pin 3
ARE ALL THE VOLTAGES WITHIN THEIR
SPECIFIED RANGES?
The PIC "Power" indicates which FRU is
bad. Replace that FRU.
Repeat advanced POST and the advanced
tests to ensure that the IBM PCyr is operating
correctly.
