any
task.
The
entry
point
to
the
abnormal
termination
routine
is
in
the
communication
vector
table
(CVT).
The
symbolic
name
of
the
entry
point
is
CVTBTERM.
Type
2,
3,
and
4
SVC
routines
must
use
the
ABEND
macro-instruction
to
terminate
the
current
task,
and
IIiUSt
use
the
resident
abnormal
termination
routine
to
terminate
a
task
other
than
the
current
task.
Before
the
resident
abnormal
is
entered,
the
CPU
must
maskable
interruptions
but
interruption,
and
registers
contain
the
following:

the
address
contained
in
register
14.
The
contents
of
register
15
are
destroyed
by
the
abnormal
termination
routine.
