Slide the latches on both sides of the liquid crystal display (LCD) outward (

) and open the LCD
(

). Position the LCD so that it is convenient for viewing.
Note: The LCD opens up to 150°.
Do not force the LCD to open flat (180°).

Press the power switch to turn on the computer (

).
Position the contrast (

) for a DSTN display and the brightness control (
2
) for a TFT
display according to the figure.
