The ZK-DP2 is a versatile DC-DC 15W adjustable USB step-up/down power supply module, designed for a wide range of applications including use as an ordinary buck power supply, a charger, and an LED constant current driver. It features an LED digital tube display for clear readouts and offers both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) adjustment capabilities.
The module supports three input power modes:
It provides an output voltage range of DC 0.5V-30.0V and an output current of up to 2A, with a maximum output power of 15W. The module is equipped with a 4-bit digital tube display that can show multiple parameters in turn, including output voltage, current, and power.
The ZK-DP2 incorporates several protective functions to ensure safe operation:
The module offers high resolution and allows multiple parameters to be displayed in turn. It comes with a comfortable outer casing.
* Connect input voltage.
* Adjust CV potentiometer to set desired output voltage. If adjustment is difficult, rotate CV potentiometer counterclockwise more than 10 turns.
* Rotate CC potentiometer counterclockwise more than 10 turns initially.
* Test output short circuit current with a multimeter (10A or 20A range) by connecting probes to the output terminal.
* Rotate CC potentiometer clockwise to set the desired over-current protection value.
* Test and verify the maximum output current (e.g., if set to 1A, the red LED will turn on when output reaches 1A).
* Note that output voltage will decrease due to the current sampling resistor at higher currents. Output current changes with load but will not exceed the set value.
* Ensure the battery's floating charge voltage and charge current are known (e.g., for a 3.7V/2200mAh lithium battery, floating charge voltage is 4.2V, max charging current is 2200mA).
* Connect input voltage (do not connect load during setup).
* Test output voltage with a multimeter and adjust CV potentiometer to the required floating charge voltage (e.g., 4.2V for a 3.7V lithium battery).
* Rotate CC potentiometer counterclockwise more than 10 turns initially.
* Test output short circuit current with a multimeter (10A or 20A range).
* Rotate CC constant current potentiometer clockwise to set the desired charge current value.
* Connect the battery to the output terminal and begin charging.
* Determine the LED's working current and maximum working voltage.
* Connect input voltage (do not connect load during setup).
* Test output voltage with a multimeter and adjust CV potentiometer to set the output voltage to the LED's maximum working voltage.
* Rotate CC potentiometer counterclockwise more than 10 turns.
* Test output short circuit current with a multimeter (10A or 20A range).
* Rotate CC constant current potentiometer clockwise to set the output current to the required LED working current.
* Connect the LED and test.
