Machine must be installed only in a dry area.
Connect the power cord to a single phase socket and ensure free access to the mains.
Switch off the machine when not in use for a longer time.
Clean the cutting head output area; caution for Cross/Cut models.
Assemble shred bin, place machine on top, mind fingers, and open cabinet door.
Unfold and insert the plastic bag into the guide rails.
Open door, place machine with control panel facing front, mind fingers, and close door.
Connect to power and set the main switch to "I" to begin operation.
Machine is ready when switch is "I", auto start/stop with paper feed.
Machine stops if too much paper is inserted, causing blockage.
Press the "R" (reverse) button to remove jammed paper.
Reset to "I" and feed paper in smaller quantities to resume operation.
Oil paper for reduced capacity or unusual noises on Cross/Cut models.
Check power connection, paper centering, and switch position for startup issues.
Unplug and clean the photo cell if the machine fails to stop.
Machine stops due to overheating; allow 10-15 minutes for cooling.
