Introduction and Safety Instructions
1. Congratulations, you have bought a scale which will allow you to monitor body fat and water
content. The scale works on the principle of measuring the electric resistance of the body in
accordance with the so-called BIA-method (Bio-electronic Impedance Analysis). Together with other
biometric data (age, gender, body height), the calculated values suggest the percentage of body fat
and water content in your body.
2. The results of body fat and water content measurement need to be treated as reference values only.
They are not suitable for medical diagnosis. Should you want to lose weight with the help of
medicaments or diets, please consult your doctor.
3. Patients with pace makers or other electronic implants should not use the scale. Proper functioning
of such implants could be limited or disturbed.
4. In order to avoid interferences, the scale should not be used in the proximity of devices with strong
electromagnetic radiation. When you use the scale, keep distance from such devices or switch
them off.
