The iFi GO pod is a wearable HD Bluetooth DAC/headphone amplifier designed to enhance your audio experience with wireless convenience. This device integrates advanced Bluetooth technology with high-fidelity audio processing, allowing you to enjoy premium sound quality from your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Function Description

The GO pod serves as a bridge between your audio source and your headphones, converting digital audio signals into analog sound with exceptional clarity and detail. It supports a wide range of Bluetooth codecs, ensuring compatibility with various devices and delivering optimal audio performance. The device is designed to be worn with ear loops, providing a secure and comfortable fit for extended listening sessions.

Usage Features

Power and Charging:

The GO pod comes with a charging case that not only protects the ear loops but also recharges them. The charging case itself can be charged via a 5V/1A USB-C input or a 5V/1.5A Qi wireless charging input, offering flexible charging options. The charging box features an LED indicator to display its battery status, with four LEDs indicating charge levels from >75% down to <25%. When charging, the battery LEDs will flash and turn off once fully charged.

LED Status Indicators (GO pod):

The GO pod itself provides clear LED indicators for various operational statuses:

  • Charging: Steady Red
  • Fully charged: Light off
  • Awaiting connection: Flashing blue
  • Ready to pair: Alternately flash Red and Blue
  • Successfully paired: Light off
  • Factory Reset: Alternately flash Red and Green

Touch Controls:

Each GO pod features a touch control area for intuitive operation:

  • Single tap: Play/Pause audio or Answer a call.
  • Double tap: Reject/hang up a call or Skip forward to the next track.
  • Triple tap: Skip back to the previous track.
  • Hold right touch area: Increase Volume.
  • Hold left touch area: Decrease Volume.
  • Single tap then hold: Wake up your phone's voice assistant.
  • Hold left and right together for ≥ 3s: Initiate Bluetooth Pairing manually.
  • Hold for ≥12s: Perform a Power Reset.

Microphone:

The GO pod includes a built-in microphone, enabling hands-free calls when paired with your smartphone. This feature allows you to manage calls without needing to remove your device or headphones.

Bluetooth Pairing and Connection:

  • Automatic Pairing: When removed from the charging case, the GO pod's LED blinks blue as it automatically searches for a previously paired device. If no stored device is found, it enters pairing mode with the LED blinking blue and red.
  • Manual Pairing: To manually enter pairing mode, press the left and right touch areas together for at least 2 seconds until the LED flashes red/blue.
  • Device Storage: The GO pod can store up to 8 paired Bluetooth devices, although manual reconnection may occasionally be necessary.
  • Connecting to a Device: To connect, simply turn on your phone's Bluetooth function and select "GO pod" from your Bluetooth list.
  • Auto-connecting (Dual Pods): When both GO pods are taken out of the charging case, they automatically switch on and connect to each other. The GO pods will flash blue lights to indicate they are pairing with each other. Once successfully paired, one GO pod will alternately flash red and blue, while the other will flash blue.
  • Single-GO pod Mode: You can use either the right or left GO pod independently. Removing one from the charging case will automatically turn it on, and you can select "GO pod" (Left GO pod) or "GO pod" (Right GO pod) in your Bluetooth list to connect.
  • Automatic Shutdown: If the GO pod fails to connect to Bluetooth for more than 5 minutes, it will automatically shut down to conserve power.
  • Power Off: The GO pod automatically switches off when placed back into the charging case.
  • Proximity for Pairing: For optimal pairing, keep the left and right GO pods within 15 CM of each other when taking them out of the charging case.

iFi-Gaia APP:

To fully utilize all functions and settings, including digital filters for sound adjustment and GO pod resetting, download the iFi-Gaia app. Search for "GO pod" within the app to connect and manage your device. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play.

Ear Loops:

The GO pod comes with three pairs of ear loops to ensure compatibility with various headphone types: 0.78mm 2-pin, MMCX, and Pentaconn Ear. These ear loops connect to the GO pod touch control units, allowing you to attach your preferred in-ear monitors or headphones.

Maintenance Features

General Cautions:

  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the GO pod to extreme heat, cold, or humidity to prevent damage.
  • Physical Handling: Do not drop or crush the GO pod. Avoid stressing the ear loops by rapid pulling or applying extreme force, and do not bend them at sharp angles.
  • Comfort and Health: If you experience discomfort or pain while using the product, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use temporarily. If you experience regular discomfort, discontinue use and consult a physician.
  • Charging Case Protection: Always ensure the GO pod is completely dry before placing it in the charging case to prevent damage to the case.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your iFi GO pod, enjoying a superior wireless audio experience.
