Ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. If the treadmill is connected to an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips repeatedly when the treadmill is used, contact Member Care to purchase an arc filter.

Turn off the power and unplug the power cord. Wait at least five minutes to allow any residual charge to dissipate from the treadmill's electronics. Plug in the power cord, turn on the power, and start the walking belt again. If the walking belt still does not run, please see the Member Care contact information.
How to fix iFIT Treadmill walking belt that is off-center or slips?
If the walking belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 a turn. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the incline trainer for a few minutes. If the walking belt slips when walked on, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 3 to 4 in. (8 to 10 cm) off the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered.

If the console won't stay in position because it's too loose, insert a hex key in the two indicated locations and turn it in quarter-turn increments until the console is tightened.

If the console doesn't boot up or freezes, reset it to factory default settings. This requires two people. First, turn the power switch off. Locate the small opening on the console's side. Using a bent paper clip, press and hold the button inside while a second person turns the power switch on. Hold the button until the console turns on. If it doesn't, turn the treadmill off and on again.
