If processing the function code request was without error, the response message will have the
following content:
 Response Function Code: Request Function Code
 Response Data: Requested data
If an error occurs while accessing the registers, the AL1340 replies with an error code instead of the
function code. The response message has the following content:
 Response Function Code: Error Code (= Request Function Code + 0x80)
 Response Data: Exception Code
