The SINAD meter can be expanded to allow more control by positioning
the cursor to the SINAD meter label [TAB] [1] [6] [ENTER] and pressing
the F1 key “ZOOM”

Ensure the C-MSG Filter is enabled

Enable SINAD Average to 10 for manual
measurements or turn Averaging OFF
for Automatic measurements.

Move Cursor to RF LEVEL (TAB, 2,
ENTER)

Select SINAD = and set the desired
SINAD point, (12 or 20 dB typical)

Activate Auto SINAD S = On/OFF

Scope source can be set to view Internal
Modulation source, Audio/Data Input port
or Notch Residual to evaluate receiver
performance.
Note: Averaging should be turned
off when performing automatic
SINAD search operations.
