Note:
Insert tool very carefully as the atomizer nozzle (123) enters the mixing chamber (114)
by 2-3 mm.
g. Retighten carefully all screws and replace all fibre gaskets by new ones!
h. Clean spark plug (201) with wire brush (333) and check electrode gap to be about
2 mm.
i. Take out swirl vane (116) after loosening both hollow screws (135; 169) and 4 fillister
head screws (15) and clean with wire brush (333) from any residues (picture 7).
Attention:
Refit all disconnected protective guards again!
5. Troubleshooting
a. If unit does not start:
→ check if fuel tank is full
→ Is tank cap (152) closed?
→ Is fuel tap (158) open (picture 4)?
→ Check spark plug (201) if clean and electrode gap 2 mm. Earth spark plug and
check spark by pressing starter button (195). (picture 8)
→ Check diaphragms (104; 105) in air intake valve (101).
→ Remove swirl vane (116) and clean if necessary (picture 7).
→ Check fuel flow:
Unscrew dosage needle (143) and check whilst activating air
pump (82) if fuel appears at bore of housing (141). If not, unscrew hollow
screw with strainer (164) and check if filter is clean!
When unit is hot, the carburettor can get flooded when pumping too vigorously
and fuel fumes appear at the fog tube. Close fuel tap (158), press starter
button (195) and pump strongly; some explosions will be audible.
Repeat starting action by slower pumping!

If all measures mentioned above are unsuccessful, check atomizer nozzle
(123):
Dismantling:
- Loosen nut (17)
- Loosen hollow screws (135; 169)
- Loosen reverse pipe of surge tank (125) at fuel tank (151)
- Pull off surge tank (125)
- Loosen fuel pipe (163) at both ends
- Pull out nozzle bushing (122)
- Pull out atomizer nozzle (123) and check if axial bore is dirty and, if
necessary, blow compressed air through.
