Why is my iGenix IG4008 not heating the water?

      Erica SilvaJul 30, 2025
Your iGenix Dispenser might not be heating water due to several reasons. First, ensure it's firmly plugged into the mains wall socket. Check the fuse or breaker if there's no electricity in the socket. Make sure the On/Off switch is turned on. Also, the safety cut-out may have activated; in that case, empty the urn, let it cool for 30 minutes, press the reset button on the base, and refill with water.

If your iGenix Dispenser cuts out before it boils, it could be due to a large build-up of scale. Use a descaling agent to clean the urn. Alternatively, the urn may have overheated, activating the thermal cut-out. In this case, empty the urn, allow it to cool for 30 minutes, press the reset button on the base, and then refill it with water.
